It seems like a weird spell thing from a porn version of Lord of the Rings or something, but we were surprised to find that BookOfSex.com is an actual site that exists.
As soon as you log on, you’ll notice that you’ve made a horrible mistake. BookOfSex.com is a TERRIBLE website, and no one could possibly get laid using this to hook up.
If you’re still on the fence about whether BookOfSex is a scam, read on, and find out what we learned in months of research.
The 411 On Why BookOfSex.com Missed The Mark For Hooking Up Online
In not-that-small print at the bottom of the very first page of BookOfSex.com, you’ll see that the site admits, “Photographs are for illustrative purposes only, and are not actual site members.”
The photographs the site is talking about are the ones that it uses to try and lure you in—you know, the “girls around now in your area.”
Those are fakes, and BookOfSex.com admits that. What it doesn’t admit right away is that the rest of the site is just as fake as their “member profiles,” and a lot more shady about it.
As a rule, you get out of a good site what you put into it. During our time on BookOfSex.com, we felt like we were constantly putting in to this site, but not getting anything back out. Maybe that was because the site was just TERRIBLE, and maybe it was because there are actually no real human girls who use BookOfSex.com to get laid.
Whatever the reason, you might feel like you’re spinning your wheels and getting nowhere. That’s a normal feeling. It just means that you’re (sadly) on BookOfSex.com.
For Your Consideration, Here Are Our Results Using BookOfSex.com For Hooking Up
For a scrappy scam website, BookOfSex.com makes you go through a LOT of steps just to see fake women that won’t sleep with you.
In order to be a member, you have to jump through several hoops and go through different pages. If we were designing a scam site, we’d make it as easy as possible so people got sucked in—but hey, we’re not scam artists, we don’t know how they do it.
During our time on BookOfSex.com, we sent out emails to 480 fake women. We got back two responses.
Honestly, we had expected to get back zero responses, and we might as well have. One of the responses we got back was in Russian (???), and the other was a garbled reply that had nothing to do with the email we sent in the first place.
Why We Thought BookOfSex.com Wasn’t Worth It: Is It Possible That BookOfSex.com Is A Scam?
First of all, does anyone put sex in a book? What is that even supposed to mean? Is it supposed to be like the book is a list of the names of the girls you bang? We’re not sure that’s really a book of sex. It sounds more like a book of girls’ names.
Second of all, THIS SITE IS A SCAM.
Okay, maybe that should have been first.
BookOfSex.com is the kind of site that people put up just to trap guys into giving away their credit card information, trying to lure them in with promises of booty and not fulfilling the booty promise. We can do better than this crappy book of sex, and so can you.
Actually, we’ve found that any site that uses the word “book” isn’t to be trusted. Stay away also from any site that calls itself “the facebook of sex” or “the fuckbook.” They’re always scammy.
